WagMyTail.com is a pet grooming school and franchise operation based in Los Angeles county. They had a small website online that they had put together very quickly to work through their website content needs. They wanted a logo they could trademark and a very distincitve look and feel for their salons, school and franchise operations.

Search engine marketing was a primary concern, so the site had to be designed to allow the use of keywords in the header and links. They also wanted to be able to provide an entire catalog of dog breeds and how to care for them. We wrote a custom program to produce the dog breed catalogs to speed the website implementation process.

The school and salon in Los Angeles has a black and white floor, so we pulled that into the design. Originally, a bold red and white look was chosen and was later changed to a lavender and orange theme when the physical facility was redecorated. We also designed signage for the mobile pet trucks and signage for the buildings.

Original Design

This was the original design for WagMyTail.com which the owners created to work through what they wanted to be able to feature on their website. They wanted to replace their "scratch" design with a professional design that would work on their website, match their physical facility and be usable for stationary, signage and their mobile pet grooming trucks.

Design Concept One

This was the original design that was approved for the website, with a glossy heart logo with cat and dog incorporated into it.

It was later modified to match the new interior decorator theme in the pet salon and school facility.

Design Concept Two

This was the final design which was colorized to match the actual salon and school facility. As well, the company had completed its registration as a franchise operation so an entire set of pages devoted to the franchise opportunity was added.

Additional Designs

Part of the franchise opportunity includes the purchase of a mobile pet grooming studio. We designed signage for the trucks, bearing the distinctive elements of their web site and facility designs.
